Kazakhstanskaya Neftyanaya Kompaniya (KNK) is an oil producing company leading vertically integrated oil and gas company in Kazakhstan. We manages assets throughout the entire production cycle, i.e. from exploration and production of hydrocarbons to transportation, refining and provision of maintenance services. The Company represents the Republic of Kazakhstan\u2019s interests in the national oil and gas industry.<\/p>

Through persistent efforts, we continuously strive to ensure that our clients are not only content but thoroughly satisfied with their collaboration with our company.With a prominent presence in the West Kazakhstan Region, our company boasts a workforce of over 250 skilled professionals. Our focus remains resolutely on sustained progress and advancement, driven by our comprehensive offerings spanning oil and gas and transportation services.<\/p>

To date, the production well stock includes 4 producing wells and 1 well for transfer to the injection well stock to maintain reservoir pressure. To ensure uninterrupted and safe production, in 2018 an oil pipeline with a length of 32 kilometers was built and put into operation from the Kultuk field to its own collection point and terminal in the area of the Sarykamys village with a tank farm of about 3 thousand m3. The Company also uses oil heating furnaces (operating on associated gas) and gas piston power plants to generate electricity for the purpose of utilization of associated gas.<\/p>

In the near future, in accordance with the approved drilling plan, the Company plans to expand production capacity by drilling new production wells at the Kultuk field, which will lead to both an increase in production and a significant increase in the number of employees who mainly live in settlements adjacent to the field.<\/p>

\"\"Exploration Licence<\/h2>

The initial licence to develop a field is typically an exploration licence where the focus is on completing agreed work programmes. Exploration licences are typically two years in duration, and it is usual for there to be several consecutive two-year exploration licence extensions agreed during the exploration phase.\u00a0<\/p>

Full Production Licences<\/h2>

To sell oil at international prices requires either the Contract Area as a whole or a particular structure to be upgraded to a full production licence. Under a full production licence there is only limited scope to develop areas not already drilled.
